Hm, they work in pview for me (OSX Leopard, Panda3D version 1.6.2).

I dug around and couldn't find a workaround.  So looks like I won't be useful for converting Blender to egg.

(If someone else does figure it out, drop me an email?)

These models now also work for me :-), because now I also use Panda3D-1.6.2.
