Thanks for the clarification! Worked like a charm with the runtime. Nice interface. But... I swear when I began my journey that I logged in as Taldor. Some dude named Feargus wanted his dagger back, btw. Thanks again, I'll play with this some more soon. I like the initial feeling of the world, its different than the rest and has a smooth quality to it.

The p3d file is not a python file. Try to run the file using the panda3d application.

If you want to run Radakan directly in Python, see the installation page.

There appears to be no Decorator package for OS X. Perhaps the error is coming from that... I'll try to get this all installed on Windows when I get the chance. Thanks for any replies!
According to the decorator homepage, it's OS independent. Does running easy_install decorator work for you?

Bwt. you don't need the decorator package when you want to run the p3d file. You only need it when running Radakan in Python directly.

Very late update: all lighting issues have been resolved months ago.

A cleaner one...
You logo is nice, but... this thread is quite old and outdated. It has been posted by the former team, when this project was still called 'The Shattered Lands'.

The default text in this forum seems too small. Anyone else think so?
You're right that the font size was too small, so I've made it slightly larger.
Let me know if it's ok now.

Hey very cool 0.1.0 release!! I wasn't expecting much but when the Xemna approached me I was pretty impressed.
Thanks!

I noted a few things. The fonts are pretty small - it would be cool if they could scale up to a larger resolution. I'm running Windows 7 at the moment at 1366x768.
The HUD scale can be adjusted in the configuration file, client.cfg (try looking for it in the application data/panda3d directory). An option for the HUD scale in the in-game settings is planned.

The right click interface when you see a Xemna is nice (I didn't read any instructions other than installation - like a real user :P). However as a user I like to put the character I'm talking to in the middle of my field of view, but when I right click on the guy the interface overlaps the chat window so I cannot see what he is saying. I instinctively tried dragging it but couldn't - so it would be nice if it was draggable.
Thanks for the idea. The simplest way to fix overlapping in the current release is by tilting the camera with the middle mouse button.

There doesn't seem to be any music being played. Is there supposed to be any?
Yes, there is music. Pressing m should toggle music playing. Also, some music starts quite soft.
